BIO
Luis Bracamonte was born in Trujillo, Peru in April of 1978. He became a multiple National Champion in swimming in 1987 and went to represent the Peruvian National Swim Team in several tournaments such as South American Championships, Bolivarian Games, Pacific Cup Tournaments, World Cup Circuits and the Pan American Games of Winnipeg of 1999.
In January of 1998, Luis was awarded a full-athletic scholarship to swim for the University of Illinois-Chicago where he broke school records and became an Illinois State Champion in the 200 Butterfly in 1998. Luis graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in May of 2001.
Luis’s coaching career begun as a freshman in college where he became an Assistant Coach for the Chicago Masters and the Evergreen Park Stingrays Swim Club. After graduating from UIC he became a full-time fitness professional taking on duties as Personal Trainer, Performance Coach, Swim Coach and Group Instructor.
In 2008, Luis begun working with the brand new Spa at Trump located in the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago. A few months later he became the Spa at Trump Lead Trainer.
In 2009, Luis was contacted by the Chicago Fire (Major League Soccer) to became the Personal Trainer for Franchise Player Cuauhtemoc Blanco. Blanco, 37 at the time went on to have a fantastic season and score a goal for the Mexican National Team at the South African World Cup in 2010.
In 2010, Luis moved to Florida and was hired by the Health and Tennis Club, a private club located inside the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo. In two seasons at Health and Tennis, Luis taught group classes, lectures and trained several clients over age 70. Luis currently trains clients at Ocean Reef, Miami and will spend the summer of 2012 back in Chicago before returning to Florida for the winter season.

-Sport Specific: Luis has achieved fantastic results working with professional and recreational athletes in the following sports: soccer, golf, tennis, triathlon and swimming. Athletes from all sports are welcome to consult.
-Poi Art and Fire Performance: Luis has performed professionally as Fire Performer for almost a decade. He know trains fire performers and other artists.
